Can you honestly believe that Allen Iverson is still a free agent? He is one of the greatest players of all time, future hall of famer, and he crossed Jordan as a young player(video above). If there is a team that's out there that needs the services of a true scorer it is without a doubt the New York Knicks. A one year deal would make a lot of sense for both sides.
Everyone knows they are in dyer need of someone who can pour in 20 points per game every night. They are also in dyer need of adding someone who can get the fans a little excited for THIS year. Why not sign him?
There will also be no silver lining to another lottery pick because due to Isiah Thomas they do not own their first round pick for next year. Iverson on the Knicks would at least land them the 8th spot and get the young guys some much needed playoff experience.

Update on the Nets' Brooklyn Plan......Here's a Solution
"The project has been stalled by financing problems in a crippled real estate market, high-priced designs and lawsuits by residents opposing the use of some condemned property to build the arena. New York's top appeals court has agreed to hear a challenge to the state's use of eminent domain to obtain all the land for the project." as said on Foxsports.com. Basically rich people kicking less fortunate people out of their homes or just having rich people drastically change someones neighborhood has pissed off a lot of people in Brooklyn (not a smart move).
Here's a solution......Move the New Jersey Nets back to Long Island
The Nassau Coliseum (which is the worst arena in professional sports) is where the New York Islanders play and is also where the New York Islanders are tinkering on the edge of moving. The Nassau Coliseum is also where Dr. J and the New York Nets tore up the ABA. So why not work on a deal with Charles Wang (Islanders Owner) to team up and move the Nets back home to the place where it all began and the place they should not have left in the first place.
The New York Islanders and Charles Wang have been trying to get his "Lighthouse Project" passed with the Town of Hempstead for a while now. He is threatening to move the team off of Long Island if his project does not take place by October 3rd of this year. They both can combine their money, build a gorgeous arena and they would not have to go through all the politics both teams are dealing with at the moment. Making a deal like this would make it the 1970s all over again and a "project" between the two teams would actually make sense and work!!
Andre Miller Signs With Blazers
Free agent point guard Andre Miller has inked a three-year deal worth $21 million. Miller will add some stability to the Blazers point guard position that was run by Steve Blake last year. If the awkward Greg Odom can develop (don't hold your breath) and if Brandon Roy can have another MVP caliber season the Blazers can be a problem in the crowded Western Conference.

LeBron James getting dunked on by Jordan Crawford
Nike came to their senses and released the previously banned video of LeBron getting dunked on by Jordan Crawford. Crawford did in fact dunk it in the mouth of the King but this is NOT a big deal. People get dunked on all the time.....even Shaq's been dunked on like 3 times.
All Nike did by confiscating the tapes from this event was create negative publicity towards Nike and LeBron James.
David Lee and the Knicks Contract Negotiations
"Double" Lee and the Knicks have hit a bump in the road in negotiating a new deal. The word is Lee is out there shopping himself in a possible sign and trade deal. The Knicks better get in there and re-sign Lee. They really should just make him happy because once this double double machine is gone Knick fans will have another reason to hate management. The Knicks have wasted their off-season trying to sign geezers like Grant Hill and Jason Kidd when they should be focused on their own players like Lee and Nate Robinson.

Some News and Notes
Ricky Rubio is parting ways with his team in Spain even if Rubio and the T-Wolves can't reach a deal. It is said that Rubio has a few options: Sign with the T-Wolves, take a year off from ball all together(which would be stupid), or sign with another team in Europe wait another year and re-enter the NBA Draft. Is the 19 year old prodigy worth all of this nonsense? Only time will tell.
Jamaal Magloire re-ups with Miami.
The Detroit Pistons sign Chris Wilcox the former Sonic/Thunder & Knick for 2 years and $6 million. Not a smart way for GM Joe Dumars to spend his money. Wilcox has the talent but does not have the drive or desire it takes to succeed in the NBA.
The Pacers have released Jamal Tinsley. The talented point guard from Brooklyn ran into some legal trouble while in Indiana and this led to his release. Will Tinsley be heading home to New York City? It should be a possibility especially if the Knicks can't reach a deal with Andre Miller.
